Question, do you put on eyeliner before eyeshadow or eyeshadow before putting on eyeliner? It confuses me how to do it, I'm a beginner at putting on eyeliner and I want to know how to do it correctly.

If it's a liquid eyeliner then you put eyeshadow on 1st then your eyeliner.

If I'm doing a big wing, ill liquid liner first, eyeshadow and then go over the line again. Just so I don't mess up the pretty eyeshadow by messing up the wing.

If you do liner first the shadow will fall onto it making the liner appear less black and intense.

I actually find sometimes liquid liner is easier first considering I have very shaky hands and I mess up a lot. But I find I have to reapply after I do eyeshadow though considering it sometimes gets dull after applying eyeshadow.

Unless you're doing a smokey eye then it's Kohl liner first, or at least that's how I do it.
