I want to try a new foundation but my skin tone is really hard to match, I usually come out orange in pictures if I try a new foundation because I have a yellow undertone. I love my L'oreal true match in W7 but I really want to find something new and I'm not sure what brands would have my shade! Any recommendations?

Try to match shades according to your neck or your chest :) if you can, go with higher brands because you can ask for help to get a matched foundation

Would you say the l'oreal true match in w7 is a good match for your skin? you can type that into the "foundation matrix" and they will give you a list of possible matches for that shade... I always take it as a recommendation and go swatch a few options before I choose one. I usually get samples of the shade they matched for me and then one shade lighter and one shade darker and see which one is best. But I always use that as a starting point to direct me towards new foundations and what colors I should go sample.

I am also W7 in L'oreal true martch. I wear MAC studio fix fluid in NC42 (perfect yellow undertones), Urban Decay Naked in 7.0, MakeUp Forever HD in #153, Revlon Colorstay in Golden Caramel... All these shades work great with my yellow undertone skin, :)

Becca is really good when it comes to finding your shade. Its a good medium covarage and you can choose between a matte or a glowy shine finish.

Thank you so much! L'oreal W7 is a perfect match for me, I will definitely be trying out those other colors as well because I am NC42 at Mac as well! I've never heard of the "foundation matrix" I'm excited to try it out! :)
