Sometimes you can also just be unlucky that a product does not work for your skin, eventhoug it works for other people!

Dermablend is great but its a little on the heavy side as far as texture goes. But it definitely offers full coverage...I've used it to cover up a tattoo. Another brand worth looking into is CoverFX. Offers full coverage foundation plus offers ingredients that can control oil product and address acne if you're dealing with that as well.

Donna have you tried treating the melasma with a lightening serum like Vitamin C. It does take time but I've seen my clients get great results from it.

Have we totally forgot about the awesome reviews that MUFE Face & Body got from everyone just yesterday? I can't remember who but someone bought it & tried it per recommendation from Jacqulene (Sp?) & she told us to run out & buy it that we won't be sorry that its the best foundation she's ever used! Apples like a dream, doesn't settle into pores & lines, covers imperfections beautifully & has a very lightweight feel. She said it wears better & better as the day goes on & its like your own skin only better. I've not tried it (yet) but everything I've ever heard about it is only great things! The only thing, if you get it, its water based so your primer needs to b water based also! That's very important & ALOT of times a common mistake made by us women. If you think about it though, oil & water DO NOT mix!!..So a silicone or oil based primer is going to make even the best foundation separate & basically melt off your face! Oil for oil based, water for water based is important to remember with ANY face makeup combination!! Oh & you have to shake it up REALLY well! Other than that its a dream from what I hear!! Hope this helps<3

Lisa, that was me! and yeah, I totally recommended trying it. The coverage is more on the sheer side though, but it is very buildable. and yeah, the whole primer thing...no silicon primer! I learned that the hard way. I apply it with my fingers and its seriously an effortless application. its for sure the new love of my life ;-)

I haven't used that particular foundation. but knowing that its full coverage I wouldnt use fingers. don't b afraid to play around with application. flat foundation brush. wedge sponge (wet or dry are options).
fingers are best to apply thin products like a bb cream/tinted moisturizer.. get a decent quality brush.
also wouldnt hurt to go to estee lauder counter and let them apply it for you. (hopefully you get someone who knows their stuff)
