Depends on what your needs are. both have their place. bb cream is light coverage, foundation gives you more coverage. its whatever works for you.

I only ever wear bb cream and I love it! So it really depends on what you want it to do! I like the light feeling and light coverage that bb cream gives!

Depends on your skin neeeds, BB cream works best for normal to dry skin, its very simmular to a tinted nousturizer, it evens out skin tone but doesn't have really any coverage, so if you have acne your trying to conceal, foundation is more ideal.

I have both (3 different bb creams and two foundations) and they all offer me something different in regards to coverage and wear time. There are bb creams that address acne issues (CoverFx), oily/combo skin (bobbi brown and Garnier). And some that address anti-aging (It Cosmetics). There is a formula out there for everyones skin type and concern (s). I love using both equally.

I have very oily aging skin, and I love bb cream. Some of the Korean brands have great coverage for blemish-prone skin. I like Skin79 Intense Classic balm, and from the US I really like Garnier's bb cream for oily/combination skin. I also like Pur Minerals cc cream, though the coverage is not quite as good as the Korean or the Garnier.
I haven't worn actual foundation in years, and my skin looks pretty good without makeup these days.

It was hard to get used to bb cream after foundation for years but my skin needs less coverage now and looks better natural because of bb cream.
