Hi! I have really really dry skin and terrible acne. Any time I apply foundation (everyday) it always like forms around my acne or cakes up around it and makes it even more noticeable. But I have to wear it because my face is more pale and red than my body. Any tips on a good foundation and/or how to get rid of the acne? Thank you!

I use Clinique acne solutions. It's a foundation that somewhat helps with acne. It's a bit expensive but totally worth it. If you can I would check it out! :)

Your acne could be because of your face wash/routine. Products that are too harsh can strip your skin of all it's natural oils causing your skin to dry out and eventually produce MORE oil. I was using Clinique acne solutions and that was too harsh for me after that I changed to cetaphil for oily skin and that was too weak. My current routine involves my cetaphil wash morning and night followed by sebamed moisturizing cream and clarisonic acne scrub every other day. Exfoliating as well as moisturizing can help ALL types of skin.

Use L'oreal true match. It is the best.

Use a moisturizer first then a primer then a nice liquid foundation of your choice try going to sephora and tell them your problem they will help you:)...and use it with a sponge or a beauty blender(defffff recommend!!) I also have acne but I have combo skin it also gets really Cakey.. Anyways hope this helped :) oh also instead of covering up your acne which makes it worse try treating it...

Hi Lindsay, I say maybe it's not the foundation you need to worry about, probably it's your daily wash.. you probably cleanse your face, But do you moistures?
