Are there any tricks or secrets to straighten hair faster? It takes me about half an hour every morning just to get my hair done!

It used to take me an hour, then I invested in a better flat iron and now its down to the same as you. its not the best flat iron I've owned though. I think if I get an even better one I can get it down to 20 min.
how do you straighten your hair? like how do you divide your sections and about how many times do go over each section?

I separate the left side, right side, and back, into their own separate sections. From there, I do between 5-10 sections, starting from bottom working my way to the top, and I go over each piece about 2-4 times

For me, its faster to go over each section only once at a slower speed. that way I get it all straight the first time and it damages my ends less. if you don't think it will be completely straight the first time over, try smaller sections.

When I used to straighten my hair everyday for school, I would shower at night and let it air dry. that way I only had to worry about my hair and makeup in the morning.

I started straightening my hair at night, I let it air dry and when it's almost completely dry I use my hair dryer then I straighten it. cuts down on my time by a lot.

You run comb through your hair just before a straightener. So you do both together.
