I just uploaded two pics on my page ,Cranberry brown sugar and Holiday. They both are the same exact makeup look but different editing techniques, the cranberry brown sugar pic i had the flash on when i took the picture and the holiday pic i had to edit to show the colors more.but i dont know which one to choose to put on my blog to tell how i got the look.any opinions?

I take all my photos near natural day light. It seems to bring out the best in my photos.

Rachael you know what that is sooo true! ive noticed that when i take pics during the day the pics do come out so much better and very true to color and there is little editing that needs to be done.

It helps if the lighting is facing your face, not behind your head! This can alter and mess up the photo's purpose and beauty. :)

It can depend on your camera, or just the camera settings. Also the lighting, like everyone said, is a key factor. Try taking more photos during the day with natural light instead of fluorescent bulbs.
