I have olive skin

It might help if you avoided foundation for a bit, try using a good moisturizer and just a bit of concealer for the discoloration.

Anytime you are looking for a proper color foundation for the first time I recommend asking for help either from a sales associate at a make-up store or even at the makeup counter at a department store.

Possibly a bb cream which can moisturize and provide sheer coverage so it's easier to match your skin tone.

9 out of 10 face makeups I try, I usually have to mix two. If I find one that has perfect color and sets well with my skin I stick to it! I usually don't find a color match. Right now I'm using Clinique tinted moisturizer mixed with Clinique cc cream. Maybe apply a nice moisturizer before foundation or switch to smtg more moisturizing like like a cc cream or bb cream with concealer for blemishes and under eye darkness.
