Can you please give your opinions on Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation? I'm debating on trying it out. Thanks:-)

Hey mistreece, I actually asked Jacqueline for a recommendation for my skin which at the time was acne oily and I had scars she recommended this one. it is full coverage and if your matched correctly it looks flawless. the only thing is, I know I used to with my dior put a bit on my cheek and chin and forehead then go back and work on blending but, with the tarte you can't do that. it settles quickly so I suggest doing one part of your face/neck at the same time. it is definitely long lasting. I recommend!! if you are skeptical, you can always go to your local sephora and get samples for sure.

I don't have the foundation but I do have the tinted moisturizer and it is fabulous! I also have the concealer and primer, Tarte is a really good brand. The tinted moisturizer has better coverage than many foundations I've tried.

I've never used it but one of my favorite YouTubers ThatsHeart did a video on it! It was really recent, so it should be at the top. I totally recommend you watch it! She does a full review on it!

I didn't really like it, I ended up returning it. It's really thick and I ended up using a lot of the product. It didn't last all day either.

I wasn't too impressed with it. It looked too much like a mask rather than blending into my skin. It seemed to dry super fast.

Ok. I like that its suppose to have a satin-matte finish, is rich in nutrients, and has SPF coverage. You're prbly right Ashley I should just go and sample it in Sephora.
@ Lori, you have me considering the tinted moisturizer as well now hmmmm...lol!
I like asking you ladies vs looking on YouTube sometimes because with YouTube you just don't know who's being honest vs promoting.

This is my Holy Grail product!! I don't always need full coverage.. that is when I use their tinted moisturizer instead. the clay takes down shine on my "end of the day oil zone" it just doesn't happen with either of these for me. I'm not super oily, but I can be with most other foundations. I second getting a sample. its a little expensive to buy if it doesn't work out for you. Good luck!

It's my favorite foundation, it doesn't break me out and it looks flawless on the skin. It's full coverage. It doesn't feel like foundation, It is thick, but it blends well and you only need a tiny bit to cover your face. I use less than a dime size and I'll still have a bit on the back of my hand.

I wasn't thrilled with it. It didn't seem to have the full coverage it claimed to, and it seemed to flake off towards the end of the day which was not fun. I actually still have a whole tube of it left pretty much. I was disappointed because I figured it would really help cover my existing breakouts but because of the flaking it looked worse. I have oily skin but maybe not oily enough I guess lol. I much prefer Urban Decay Naked Skin even though it isn't really formulated for oily skin, it works well for me and I get pretty good coverage with it. You may really like the Tarte one though, obviously it seems to work for a lot of people here lol :)
