I want to start saving up some money for beauty products and clothes but I'm a little right with money how much would you recommend to start off saving? And what would you put it in? My bank account is inactive at the moment but it'll be like for a rainy day too so I need help.

I always put $20.00 aside, it usually adds up pretty quick since it's just for make up.

Ok so when I get a job I'll definitely do that and I don't want to hide it from my husband but I don't want him to talk me into spending it for cigarettes because we both smoke but I'm the type that would rather have makeup than cigarettes but he's like last $5 in his Walette he buys cigarettes

Lol it may seem like a little at first depending on what kind of make up you like to buy.
I'm more of a high end junkie, but then after awhile I ran out of high end stuff that was on my wishlist. So now it's all for drug store or just little things so it feels like I'm on a shopping spree ☺

That's awesome and I told my husband that I wanted to do this and he was all for it!

I am horrible at saving money but I do the same as kitty and set some money aside in a jar and it helps if you don't make a list of what you want because (at least in my case) the list is just too long to be reasonable and I too smoke and would give up my cigarettes to buy makeup and also where do you live that they are only 5 dollars. here in Minnesota there almost 8! it will help that your hubby is on board mine even throws his extra change from they day in there! eventually it all adds up (:
