How do I get the best beach-y waves?

Wash hair and blow dry upside down. Scrunch your hair with salt spray (can be picked up in any drugstore) and spray with hairspray so they stay throughout the day:)
alternatively, you can plait your hair and leave it over night, then scrunch with salt spray and hairspray:)
