I would suggest blending near the inner corner. I also do agree with eyeliner and mascara it will put the look together.

Look great! But did you use an eyeshadow primer under? I think that would intensify the color and make it pop alittle more! :)

You did good, smokey eye is an Intense style( no such thing as a soft or natural smokey eye) and you just need to blend upward a hint pass your crease and add the same effect to bottom lash line then you pretty much got it down.(Dark fade into light) Smokey eye :)

From what I understand of smokey eyes, you need to use more than one colour tone to make the shadow seamlessly blend from dark to light.
I would definitely suggest blending out the edge more. I would also make it a tad darker & add a little shadow on the lower lash line. you could add a winged liner if you want, but I usually don't.

smokey eyes definitely take practice to achieve! hope I helped (: xx

Just blend a little more and eyeliner would be a good addition. 😊

Here's a pic of a gorgeous but not too crazy smokey eye. Notice the dark color blended slightly above the crease. Then there is a lighter caramel "transition" color blended above that, then the even lighter highlight color. Also notice the darkest shade smudged thinly into bottom lashline. And lastly, dark liner in upper & lower waterline. The liner really puts the finishing touch on any smokey eye. And don't think you only have to use black. Dark brown is also beautiful.
