How long have you been deep conditioning & whatnot?

Unfortunately there's no way to really heal or repair hair. Once it's damaged, you can condition it to prevent further breakage, but there's no way to repair it completely. The only way is to cut it off. I'd suggest cutting off an inch or two every few months till the damaged parts are gone.

My hair was like this for a while. I first started to strip my hair of all chemicals, by washing my hair with fresh creaked raw eggs. I then mixed in a container raw eggs, all my hair products, including grease (just a small amount), and pure olive oil. After I've done this I would coat my hair with honey, let it sit over night. And then wash it out the next morning. And put my best deep conditioner (LEAVE-IN) in my hair. The get a trim to best even hair and to also cut off damaged hair little by little.

this is a process you must repeat for best results. It worked for me, I can say my hair didn't feel matted and stringy after words.

I did the same thing as far as bleach about maybe five to six months ago. I bleached, dyedx2, & strippedx2 my hair all in one sitting. (such a stupid move, I was desperate) My hair also felt like straw, it was very thin at the end, brittle, and dry. I did all I could to keep it up without having to get a short cut which I never really had, my hair has always been down to my bummm mind you. I finally devided it was time to start over. I got it cut into convex layers and had alllll the dead cut off this way your hair still looks full from the layers! this was like five months ago, ever since I've been using Mane n Tail (may have to switch if Shannon is right) using little to no heat, I use Moroccan oil every night before bed, my hair was shy of being above my shoulder and its now to where my bra lays on my back... ohh and as I said I just purchased the biotin vitamins. I work at CVS in a lot of women come in and I hear nothing but good things about the product so we shall see.. good luck.
