I bought tea tree oil from body shop applied it a few days and my skin is breaking out like crazy! Help :(

I had pimples on my face and bought tea tree oils from body shop and it just made it worse , why did it happen? Tea tree oil is supposed to calm it?

Have you scratched or recently exfoliated your face? It could be that the open wounds of your pimples are slightly irritated by the tea tree oil. Treat your skin gently, moisturise and maybe try the tea tree oil again tomorrow! I mixed mine in with my moisturiser so it's gentle :)

I did not scratch my face because I have heard that if you pick your pimples it leaves scars so I just leave them alone , I have been using tea tree oil that's it :( yes I think what you suggested mixing it in moisturiser is a good idea I will try it @ Alex , thank you.
