I'm mostly worried that it'll streak off in water because I'm going to the river for Aussie Day weekend!

My thought would be not to do it. If there's one thing I've learned it's don't try a new skin, hair, or body product before an event you care about. Not that it wouldn't be safe (thought they do make good bronzing lotions for faces), but if you don't know how it will work out, don't do it.

There's a self tanner from garnier, don't remember what it's called I think it's bronzed glow or something and it's in a little lotion like bottle, not a can. I haven't used it on my face but it's the best self tanner I've found that doesn't come off streaky or look very orange either and would suggest it if you want something that won't irritate your skin and will stay on for good over a week without touch ups. :)

If you put it on the night before you have plans and sleep with it on you'll wake up all tanned :) haha.

The reviews on this stuff are fantastic for the face. Its a lot easier to put some in a bowl and apply with a stippling brush and a little goes a long way so don't apply too much. you can build the color slowly which is better then trying to tone it down if you get too much. make sure you exfoliate your face beforehand and apply it at night. wash your face in the morning with a mild cleanser and make sure to moisturize often. fake tanner will stay on better if your skin is moisturized. its a great product!
