I put on a moisturizer as soon as I get out of the shower or wash my face. Then I either use a face primer or setting spray. I put the setting spray on before and after I do my makeup.

If you don't generally wear foundation on your whole face, start with concealer then apply foundation in those spots to blend. Otherwise, full face foundation first, then dabs of concealer.

The most important base to makeup is a clean face! Wash that face, little bit of moisturizer, and you'll be good!

What works for me is washing my face and applying moisturizer with SPF. Then do my concealers, eye primers, etc.

I defiantly make sure my face is freshly clean and moisturizer. Also priming before you put on foundation will give you a good base as well as setting your liquid foundation with a face powder.

I cleanse my face with a mild cleanser. Then I tone with Witch Hazel. After that has dried, I moisturize. I let that sink in and apply primer. Gets the job done.

After I wash and tone my face I put on moisturizer and let set in. Primer and let set in. Put on foundation and let set in. Do my eye makeup. Blush and highlighter and little powder to set, Skindinavia setting spray.

I do my skin care routine as usual, then a primer for my face and one for my eye lids. While some people are suggesting products that is great but really it all depends on preference and skin type/tone. But generally I do primer, foundation, concealer, powder. I suggest doing you eye makeup first so if you have fall out you aren't wiping away your face makeup with it. Blush and mascara are always the last thing I put on. Btw you don't need an extra product like consealer if you have a great foundation that you can build on.

Clean skin is a must to get started! Some type of serum and/or Moisturizer. After that has penetrated and dried a spritz of setting spray. Apply tinted Moisturizer to face followed by a setting powder applied with a puff, not a brush! Gently pressing the powder into the skin gives an awesome result. If I'm going to wear eye shadow I apply a dot of primer to each lid and blend into the lid with a brush (my nails are too long to use my fingers) and apply eye colors. I always groom my brows with clear gel and apply mascara. Spritz my face with setting spray to finish. Lips are the last thing I do.
I have oily skin and have just recently discovered setting spray. Like others have stated, using before and after make-up application has made a huge difference in the staying power of my make-up and keeps oil breakthrough at bay for the ENTIRE day (Urban Decay DeSlick).
