My blonde hair is still tinted green from swimming in the pool this summer, AND IT IS JANUARY!! I have tried everything, vinegar to chlorine removing shampoo! Can someone please help me?

Maybe a vitamin C mask? You can google it.

This is so ironic; my friend dip dyed her hair over the summer, but she's not allowed to have dyed hair for school, so she told everyone the green was from swimming too much, and they believed her! Anyway, here is a helpful link: http://m.voices.yahoo.com/how-rid-chlorine-green-hair-3108526.html
I know someone advised her to use purple shampoo, but I'm not entirely sure whether or not that works. x

People use purple shampoo for when they are dying their hair it helps prevent unwanted colouring ( ie. dying blonde and don't want it to turn out orange )

Rylee, that's exactly what I said! But the girl insisted that it worked for her when she was a competitive swimmer. Oh well! Some people are just ignorant.

Don't use any purple products, purple products are used to get orangey tones out of the hair not green. You'll need to use something red. I've heard red wine works? Or ketchup? If not then red shampoo and conditioner should do the trick x

That happened to me too! I used the purple shampoo and it worked pretty well for me but next summer before getting into the pool, wet your hair with a spray bottle or something just to get it wet before getting into the pool! That helps a lot!

This always happened to me. Purple shampoo there's one called shimmering lights I think and it's wonderful. I started to wear a swim cap they look silly but then your not green... Another thing I tried was putting conditioner on your, hair before swimming WITHOUT washing it out.
