(African American Hair) I'm trying to achieve longer, healthier & thicker hair. I know its my diet & hair products but what can I do about shedding & ends? Thanks so much! 😘

Well, I'm not African American but I do know that if your ends are already badly split, it's best to cut them off as soon as possible so that they don't split further up the shaft and ruin your hair more :) also in terms of shedding, that's normal. Your hair has three growth cycles, and the first one involves pushing out the old hair follicles and regrowing them. Shedding is natural and nothing to worry about.

I recommend using actor oil & organic coconut oil as a deep conditioning treatment once a week. I've started doing this a few months ago & have seen amazing fast results with my hair. I notice the castor oil makes my hair grow like crazy an also makes my hair thicker (which my hair has always been thick but hey it won't hurt lol) & the coconut oil stop my hair soft, tangle free & reduces shedding. I swear by this treatment :)

Okay, to put it gently , you need a crap ton of moisture! Try googling long relaxed hair regimens! Wait, first, is your hair relaxed? Because there are different types of regimens for natural hair and relaxed hair!

I put the castor oil into a applicator bottle & apply it directly to my scalp.
