I'm growing my hair out too and i use to straighten it everyday or it will be a huge Afro of frizz. Now everyday I use some kind of hair masque they work really well ! I would prefer its a ten . Also instead of straightening scrunch it it still looks really cute with short hair.

Don't use a hair masque everyday * use it every couple of days or 1 a week . You will see a difference

Use a heat protectant because using heat everyday is not good for hair growth. Massage your scalp when you shampoo, use a protein treatment every 2 weeks. Make sure you trim your ends every 8-12 weeks or as needed. Biotin, MSM, B complex Vitamin, & Horsetail. Hairfinity Vitamins has all those in one, you can purchase them at Hairfinity.com.

I had really long hair, and then I cut it in a bob. I really hated it! So I started trying to get it to grow faster. It's now almost at my waist and all I've done is drink lots of milk. All I know is that it works.

marroccan oil strengthens and repairs damaged hair and helps it grow faster :)

There isn't really anything that will make your hair grow faster. Some people have good luck with Biotin but i didn't notice much change. The only thing you can really do is 1. get a fresh cut to get rid of all the split/damaged ends. 2. Find a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to help keep it healthy. 3. if you blowdry everyday find a good cuticle penetrating serum to use while your hair is wet or before you dry it (this will help protect the ends to avoid spliting and breakage). 4. Use a thermal spray before using any irons on your hair. 5. And find a good treatment mask and use it once a week, without blowdrying/straightening to give your hair a rest and treat yourself.
You have to keep your hair healthy, the same way you don't want your skin to break out, you have to take the right steps to keep your hair healthy.

I'm currently having the same issue :/ and my hair is a fro if I don't straighten it as well. I used to have naturally wave-y hair and then I dyed it blonde, (I was talked into it haha) about a year ago. since last April I dyed it back brown and I have put my hair into super boot camp trying to get it back long and healthy after having to cut a lot of it out after the intense bleaching. natural is better no matter what... anyways I use argam oil intensely and hair masks.. I deep condition about three times a week. best luck to you, I know how frustrating it is :(

Make sure your keeping protein in your hair. Also keep it moisturizer. Make sure your surfing products that are sulfate free and silicone free and mineral oil free. All if these things stunt the growth if your hair. Lastly every time you straighten your hair put on a heat protectant. Focus the product on your ends. Your not retaining length because your not babying your ends.
Hope this helped❤

wear a head warming hat as much as you can. I used to have butt length hair until I started losing it (medical issues) and I used to wear those winter hats all over my house even in the summer. Yeah, my family thought I was crazy but it works because the warmer your follicles are the more they are stimulated to grow. This is why our hair grows faster in the summer.

I swear by marroccan oil. My hair would not grow past a certain length for years and I started using the oil religiously after showers and my hair is the longest healthiest its ever been. I try also letting my hair air dry and that's made a big difference

Where can I get the hair skin and nail vitamins?
Nov 11, 2012
Natalie T.
You can get them at any drug store. I bought Biotin and Folic Acid for my hair at CVS or Walgreen's, but they also have vitamins that are labelled as "Hair Skin and Nail Vitamins" at the pharmacy.
