What would I say to my hairdresser?

I was born bleach blonde, and no brown has ever been found in my head. I hate it. It looks so plain, and the dumb blonde thing is getting old. I really want brown lowlights (or highlights, whatever you call it.) Would I just show my hairdresser a picture of what I want? Or what would I explain to her if I couldn't find any good pictures? This is the best I could find.

Its easier to show her a pic and explain to what changes you want that aren't in the pic.

I would just show your hair dresser this picture and try to explain it if all else fails.

Definitally make sure you find out if your hair has a warm or cool undertone first. If you pick the wrong shade it could look green or another unwanted shade.
