I want to start my own blog and possibly YouTube channel. I want to invest in a good camera and video editor program. So which camera and program do you use?

I don't have a YouTube channel as of yet but I do know that almost all of the beauty Gurus I watch use a Cannon camera. Most popular is the Cannon Rebel, but that model is pricey. I think anything by Cannon will work well.

As for software, I have a Mac and I use iMovie (which comes pre installed). I definitely recommend it, you get professional finishes and it doesn't cost you anything if you have a Mac...

The Canon Eos Rebel T3i or T4i take both amazing pictures and videos. As for video editing I use Windows movie maker. It comes standard on most computers (: Hope that helps :3 Also, a the best time to buy an expensive camera, is black friday, while everything is on sale (:

If you are someone like me, who doesn't own a mac, and doesn't want to spend 1000 bucks on a macbook when you already have a PC laptop, then just use Windows movie maker. I use it and it works fine. It's simple, so if you aren't computer savvy it won't be a waste, and it's free.
And as for a camera, don't just up and buy a 5/6 hundred dollar camera. mine was like barely 70 bucks. It isn't HD, but it is a good camera.
I don't think they sell the model I own anymore, but Samsung made it, and I know they make a lot of good, but cheap, camcorders.
