Ok so I have really bad acne, I think it's cystic but I don't really know.
1. My mom won't let me go to the dermatologist, what can I do to convince her to let me go?
2. What are some at home clearing techniques that I could do without buying anything?
3. How can I cover my acne with foundation, concealer, and powder?

Just go to the dermatologist there is no point in wasting your money on other things that won't work if your acne is that bad... First of all let your face breathe I understand now that you want to hide it but putting makeup on it will make it 1000 times worse.. To convince her? Well why doesn't she let you go? Not all dermas prescribe pills and if they do they will usually give you a cleanser a cream for night and maybe some wipes.. And antiviral pills that do no harm at alllll it's nothing hormonal my mom is all organic heathly blah blah blah she looked it up and there's nothing bad it can do to you it's not birth control pills (no no no..) and they do give it to people with acne often... I'm not exactly sure but it's probably cause you have a virus or bacteria that's causing the break outs...so just ask her to give it a chance cause hormonal acne shouldn't be thaaatt bad.. And do not! I say doooo not go to those beauty salons to get a cleaning noooooo...

1. I really don't understand why wouldn't your mother let you. You have to go to dermatologist regulary, it is like going to the dentist. It doesn't matter if you have acne or not, dermatologist is main thing for having healthy skin. Say that to your mother, if she doesn't accept I don't know what you should do. I think I will go mad if my mum didn't allow me.
2. I moisture my skin and use Noreva's product Exfoliac. And you can try some home masks you can find on internet. And this maybe sounds weird, but try to find mask with potato lot of people say it works.
3. I use L'oreal true match it is medium coverage so maybe it won't work for you. And yes. Type on the internet '' Cassandra Bankson first youtube video''. And you will see a miracle. Believe me it totally changed my view on acne and makeup. Hope this helps.

Maybe next time your at a regular doctors appointment mention your acne and they will refer you to a dermatologist. She won't say no then.

Cystic acne is acne + cysts. If you do have cysts then you're not getting rid of them unless you get them drained (not permanent) or surgically removed (sometimes permanent) other than that you just have bad acne. To get rid of acne, benzoyl peroxide is your best bet. It is by far the most researched and best working ingredient for fighting acne and getting rid of pimples, it works by drying them out and killing the bacteria.
Find a cleanser and toner with benzoyl peroxide in it, and use it twice a day. This will help you keep your skin free of bacteria to prevent acne while working to fight it aswell. It will dry out your skin though so make sure you find a good oil free moisturizer to replenish your skins nutrients and avoid excess oil production, which may clog your pores and counteract the acne fighting agents you're using.
Tea tree oil is an absolutely amazing acne fighter, and I love using it as a spot treatment. I suggest getting an actual tea tree oil spot treatment as apposed to just using the oil because it has other ingredients which will help it be more effective. I love grease lightning by the body shop! Using this after your toner and before your moisturizer is great to speed up the process in getting rid of acne.
You can also be sure to keep your hair out of your face and keep it clean, the grease from your hair can sometimes clog your pores.
Make sure you're using oil free makeup, or even better mineral powder only, and clean your brushes in between uses.
Basically just keep everything clean!
I would also suggest trying RED LIGHT, if you'd like more info on it.
