Fam has been cursed with the "you'll never successfully curl your hair" I need curling iron suggestions no normal curling iron works (I've tried every tip) so maybe it's the type or style of the iron. suggestions. pics.

My friend has the same problem... Try keeping the iron on each strand for longer I guess... Or Use some kind of curl holding spray or cream in your hair

My friend also has that issue. she outs her hair in a sock bun and leaves that for a day, sleeps with it, then in the morning takes it out. it is the only thing in years of trying different techniques anf irons, that have helped.

It might help if you don't condition your hair before doing it. I and everyone I know with naturally curly hair has corse/thick hair.

Try smaller pieces, and I have to hold it on my curling iron for 30-40 seconds each strand with it on high AND turbo bost.

I have exactly the same problem with every single way of curling or styling my hair! It's so frustrating! If I do a plait or bun or rollers over night my hair ends up frizzy rather than curly :( but I've found something that works and it's called babyliss curl secret :) and I tried it at a hair show and it worked perfectly and the curls stayed for two days- without product!! Tbh I don't like heating my hair that much, but if I could afford this product I would get it... I think it's around £117? Anyway hope I helped :) x

Try a wand!! I have the exact same problem but wand curls will stay in my hair for up to 3 days!

Use a mousse through your hair, and hold the curls in small sections until they feel very warm on the outside. Use a heat protectant spray beforehand since you need to hold them a bit longer, you don't want to fry your hair! Here's the important part- pin the curl to your head with flat clips (bobby pins will work too but might be more likely to leave a mark). The curls can either stand up or pinned flat to your head. normally when you use a curling iron, the curls cool hanging down, and the loops are pulled out. The best thing for you would be to use hot rollers, it's easier and they cool in a curl. Either way, use a lightweight hairspray when you unpinned, or unroll, for hold that won't weight down your curls. Here's a set of hot rollers I love, since the clip heats up too, and the hair gets heat from both sides! They always leave me with long lasting, shiny curls. Good luck!:) I'm surprised these don't get super reviews, but here's my tips- center the clips when they're heating so they don't melt, and clip them on from the bottom of your curl so you don't get marks, easy!
