I know this is a very common question but oh well, my hairs down to my shoulders so it's medium length I'm always wearing extensions because I don't like the length. Does anyone have any sort of tips on how to make it grow faster?

The only problem about avoiding heat is how thick my hair is and it's naturally curly so I need to straighten it but I have been using heat protectant spray?

I'm in your exact situation with the curls and everything :D I use coconut oil, make sure its 100% that and not other stuff :p put it in your hair at night& cover it with a plastic hair mask, it helps soo much! I've done it 4 times this month about once a week and my hair got longer and looks better :)

Honestly regular trims don't help it grow,my friend has really long hair but if she had all her split ends cut she would have her hair in a bob, trims keep hair healthy promoting growth not making it grow.Drinking water and having a healthy diet will help, hot oil treatments, hairmasks ,deep condition and morocan hair serum is really great, there is no way to necessarily 'make' it grow but these will all help and take part in helping it grow.

I completely agree with Yolande on the trims. I also tried Not Your Mothers grow shampoo and conditioner and I really did notice a difference, my only cons though were that its not made for color treated hair and I don't like the smell. I also saw on Pinterest that you can crush prenatal vitamins and mix into your shampoo. Biotin is also great for helping hair grow. I straighten my hair everyday and it is fine as long as I use a good heat protectant and use deep conditioners often

Don t use heat an get olive oil , put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and massage it in your roots and then hop in the shower and wash out and shampoo your hair and see results after 1 wash
Keep repeating this process and get longer hair in no time :)

Whatever you do don't cut your hair (unless you have those nasty split ends). There isn't really a way to speed up the process--hair naturally grows at a rate of 1 1/2-2 inches every 3 months. It took me three years to get from a bob to butt-length mermaid hair.
Stay strong!

Get trims when needed. use sulfate & silicone free shampoo. L'oreal Everstrong is a great line. do strengthening treatments with coconut oil. try leave in conditioners. use as little heat as possible. people with curly hair are lucky, embrace it & rock your curls more often. when you want it straight, blow dry it as straight as you can on low or cool setting. use a protectant like It's a 10. before taking pills like biotin talk to your doctor. it's meant for people with biotin deficiency. if you don't need it nothing will happen, but you may get side effects. your hair has it's own natural growth rate genetically determined. crushing up prenatals or birth control & applying in shampoo won't do anything lol. that's one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
