I've tried it and it leaves hair smooth and shiny but the smell is really hard to get out so wash it out twice so I'd say shampoo more than once so it doesn't end up greesy:)

I've heard of putting olive oil in my hair and have also actually tried it and works wonders on dry/damaged hair! The mayo sounds like a stinky idea :p

You can use hair mayonnaise instead of actual mayo because the smell is horrible. Hair mayo has other oils and stuff to help your hair. Also try olive oil, coconut oil & argan oil in your hair. Any deep conditioner treatment will work to help damaged hair. When I deep condition, I usually mix a ton of regular conditioners I have already with an actual deep conditioner & mixed my oils with it. I leave it on my hair for at least an hour then rinse it out. After I rinse it out, I co-wash my hair with a conditioner.

Just use coconut oil or olive oil.. No need to use something gross smelling and it will take you a few washes to get out so at the end it's not worth it cause you'll end up drying up your hair trying to wash it out... There are a lot of other home remedies you can use

Olive oil is a dream to use! You can also try coconut oil. Both work similarly. Apple cider vinegar makes hair super soft too!

Mayo is good for your hair... but I wouldn't be able to stand the smell. Try coconut, olive, or argan oil

I love using mayo in my hair. I put it on and then soak a towel wring it out n put it in the microwave to warm it and wrap my hand in it so that its warm n the mayo really penetrates my hair plus keeps the funky mayo smell down. I keep it on for 30 minutes.

Believe it or not, a $3 deep conditioner that the Dollar Store carries has worked wonders on my hair & I have very course/ dry hair naturally & then I also heat style & color so you know my stuff is a hot mess w/o some tlc!! Its by Aussie. Its called 3 Minute Miracle. Its in a small purple bottle (duh..of course, all Aussie is in purple bottles! Lol..) When I do use oil I use Organic 100% coconut oil. You'll find it in the health food section of the grocery store or you can get it from any health food store or GNC. Mayo does smell awful & if you don't get it all washed out it will also sour in your hair & you DON't want that!! Trust me!
