Do you know of any pore treatments that will make them look smaller? I used to never notice my pores before but lately they've been larger but only around my nose/under my eyes. I'd like to hear of anything to help it, and maybe suggestions as to why this is happening? Thanks ladies! xxx

Hmmm. I'm no expert, but it could be build up of bacterial junk in pores, like blackheads in the making. Have you changed your routine or products up lately? Facials and pore strips help me with those, as well as the Tea Tree Mask from the Body Shop.

There's no way to make them smaller. but you can make them look smaller with primers or when putting on your foundation use a brush with a back and foward, up and down motion.

I have changed what I used to moisturize my face to a serum instead of a cream. Would that do anything? :(

I try not to use primers & foundation since that's what I thought was clogging my pores!

I'm not sure if a change like that could affect your skin so drastically. But at the same time, if you've never had this problem before then A, you don't have naturally big pores, which means these can be fixed and reduced to normal size and B, a change in your routine or your diet could be responsible.

Do you take off ALL your makeup off at night? Maybe that could be the problem. Try your best to remove most of it with soap and water before you go to bed. If not you can use astringent or clean and clear cleansing pads (not exactly sure if that's the name)

Hope this helped!

What I do at night is use a makeup wipe to get mascara/eyeliner off, then wash my face following up with a deep cleaning astringent. And after that I put acne treatment and eye cream, following up with moisturizer! Is that bad? I'm kinda nervous about all this, thanks for being so helpful! & @hannah I've been eating a TON healthier & cut sugars from my diet. Would that change my skin?

Well another thing you can do is apply ice cubes to your pores, it'll tighten them up! Or you can make a baking soda paste by adding 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 teaspoons of water(:

Honestly a healthier diet wouldn't do that to your skin, so I think it might be the moisturizer change. Honestly your routine sounds really similar to mine, and my pores are pretty unnoticeable for the most part. I would just add a clay mask once a week to draw out the impurities, and see if that helps. But like I said, I'm not an expert. See if Traci L answers, she's a huge help with skincare problems. If you want to find her, you can click on my profile and go to people I follow, she's there :) you can just ask her the question on her profile.

Oh and gently rub for 30 seconds. This can help acne too!

I would say using a good scrub could certainly minimize them. Mine look better when I use a scrub. Also you can make a scrub/treatment by mixing sugar and lemon juice together that has a lot of greats benefits for your skin and makes you look noticeably clearer and glowy.

Any nice face scrub for face? cause I have big pores too, and benefit porefessional can't help at all, and it make my pores look even bigger after I put on my foundation..

If you have the money you would recommend buying a clairsonic because it cleans the skin of all of the makeup! If you can't afford that then you could try the olay version of it! If you don't want a brush, try removing your makeup and washing or doing a double wash (washing the makeup off with the cleanser, then actually cleansing the skin) and make sure to moisturize! You can definitely keep using primers and foundations, you just have to experiment with which ones work best with your skin and don't break you out! Hope this helps :)

Loreal has cheaper knock off of the clarisonic to keep in mind if you want to go that route but not spend that much money. I'm sure it's not quite on the same level but I've used it and I like it.

I don't know you want professional treatment or just a good primer so ill give you both
medical-microdermabrasion/at home exfoliation kit
primer-lorealmiracle blur or maybeline's new baby skin
