Not a fan of american bb creams, but i really like the asian ones, like Missaha, Etude House,Skin 79. Those are some popular ones. My favorite one is Missha M perfect cover bb cream.

The Asian formulas provide way more coverage than the American ones and higher SPF. American creams have a better color range though. I love Missha Perfect Cover, except for the smell of it.

american bb creams are just repackaged tinted moisturizers, while asian bb creams actually contain beneficial ingredients.

BB stands for Beauty Balm. It is a "all in one" product that is meant to take the place of a moisturizer, primer, concealer, foundation, etc.

I use the Loreal BB cream and even it doesn't cover well. I really like the product color but just wish it had better coverage

Also with Asian brands, the formula is originally used for to protect patients skin after surgery - plus the 'whitening' properties...being 'fair
and lovely' is very important in the east. Western bb creams are to me just tinted moisturisers.

bobbi brown has a nice one called tinted moisture balm. it's excellent for these cooler months approaching and it can be layered as well with concealer and powder.
