Ugh, I have the same problem! My old mascara was really crappy AND dried quickly. Instead of buying a more expensive brand, I just got a much thicker brush and slower drying mascara. It worked!

They sell eyelash coma at drugstores like CVS and Wal-Greens for pretty cheap. They work we'll to separate your eyelashes. :)

Try to find a new mascara like The Clump Crusher. I think its by Revelon. Or, buy a mascara brush. I have one and it works wonders!!
