Does anyone know if this is good for acne prone skin?
I have done some reading on it, and I use it for cooking because its a superfood.
I also used to use it on my legs and arms to moisturize and heal, but am hesitant to use it on my skin since I have acne.

I have acne prone skin too and I used it once on my face at night and woke up with a couple new pimples. But I've heard people say they keep it on their face for a little bit like a mask and then wash it off..maybe that works better? I like it as an eye makeup remover since it's so moisturizing, I just make sure to get it all off afterwards. I use it on my body too, do you use just pure coconut oil or do you combine it with anything?

Try Jojoba oil with a couple drops of tea tree and/or lavender oil.

Jojoba is very close to the oils in your skin.

Yes it is. Coconut oil has anti bacterial, anti fungal, and anti viral properties. Put on a very tiny tiny layer before bed. Then wash n rinse in the am. If u see a pimple, don't be alarmed. It's drawing it to the surface. Coconut oil is AAAAAAMMMMAAAZZZZING for your skin!!!

Coconut oil is really good for your skin. If you get pimples, just know its working detoxifying your skin.

Yes. Try it! All my friends think I'm nuts cuz I'm always goin on n on about coconut oil, but my skin n hair are beautiful!!!! (Until I bleached my hair. That's another story. Lol)

I'd say yes! I always had breakouts on my forehead, but recently I've been putting coconut oil on my face and it helped a LOT!

It's not a heat protectant that I know of, it's a moisturizer with anti bacterial properties.
