Does a base coat really help your manicure last longer?

I find tht top coat makes it stay long. Base coat really just helps prevent staining. If you put two coats of color and one to two top coats, it should stay for a week without chipping.

Agree with ladies. I know you said you don't want to repaint them but you can try to repaint only top coat after 2 or 3 days. I sometimes do it and it really helps + you can buy 60s top coat which will dry in 1 min (in true 2-3 mins) so you will have it really quick ;)
