Has anyone mixed their own shampoos and conditioners for white/platinum/grey/violet hair? I was wondering if anyone has tried adding a violet toning agent into white, clear, or already violet shampoo/conditioner to make their hair a nice shade? I really want to know, even just in theory, what/if I can add anything to my shampoo/conditioner to keep the yellow tones away. I'm assuming I can add dye to my conditioner(thats how I achieve pastel colors anyways) but is there anything else that I can add for daily/more frequent use?
Of course I already use a variety products for my hair color and I like changing it up to alter my hair color every time I wash it with something different. Depending on the products I use I will have white hair, I can have a light violet from other products, or a silvery grey from something else. So I also like playing with the outcome of the color of my hair from different products, so a temporary color change from the use of something I can mix into my shampoo/conditioner myself is almost desired.
