I have the exact same problem. I have tried many make-ups to cover up my acne and while some do a flawless job I find it just aggravates the acne and makes it worse. Which means I end up with more acne to cover up. The best soution I found so far is to just use a concealer that is as close to your skin tone as you can get. If you work around the pimple first and then only a few dabs on top it does a pretty good job. At the end of the day lotions like proactive that get rid of acne are the best option for me then I only have to worry about normal make up and not trying to hide my makeup. Hope I helped! :)

In my opinion primer is what helps makes a flawless finish I have a lot of acne on my skin also and I love the smash box more than primer blemish control it smooth out my face and leaves a nice flat canvas for my foundation and just like what tash said concealer will definetly help cover up hope I could help :D
