You could use gel or moose in your hair. It will take down the frizzyness and with curls it look great.
I don't do it since I don't have curly hair but I have a friend and her mom that have really curly hair. When they get out of the shower they put some gel or moose in their hair.
Also there are product product out there like shampoos and conditioners out there that are made for curly hair. Maybe you could try some and see what results you get.

Girl my hair is way more curlier than yours I usually leave in conditioner it gets your hair so soft and takes out the knots and then I put in moose or gel it makes my hair look so nice and everybody loves my hair. you could put it halfway, down, in a cute ponytail, hope I helped.

You can try save up for a perm? My mom has hairs like yours and she got a perm to get striaght hair. Last for 1 year or more depend how you treat your hair or look for foreign products cheaper and 70% time they work.

Braid your hair before you go to sleep if you want a more controlled wave. you could pin curl your hair also for controlled curls, or even try sleep in rollers :)

Top for anyone with curly hair: never brush it when it's not wet. put in a leave in conditioner or a couple drops of argan oil to make it less frizzy. I have naturally curly hair but for a while when it was acting out, I would twirl it to make sure it curls nicely. I would put my hair into two sections, then twirl them each separately and tie them together. if you keep your hair like this for a while then take it out, it should make the curls nicer and less frizzy :) also try putting bows in your hair, maybe holding some of your hair back because it automatically makes your hair 5x cuter.
