Ok ladies I need help!
I am taking on an internship this semester for my Business Marketing degree. I don't usually dress up all that often, so I need some ideas on how to dress nice and appropriate for an office setting. I would also need to get a few staple pieces that I can recycle everyday. I do not care for dresses, maybe skirts but I don't know. I have no idea how to dress appropriately. I really need to look professional for the possibility of being kept on to work full-time. I have an hourglass shape.
Thanks in advance loves!

Also all the heels I have are 3in and up. I don't have any other nice shoes but heels and wedges.

Get some basic dress pants, gray and black go with everything. Depending on the work place either all button down or nice blouses. Maybe a blazer or suit jacket.

A few essentials are:
-Black or grey pantsuit
-Black pencil skirt
-Two or three modest blouses
-A white button down
From there, you can create multiple looks that are professional and work-friendly. If you want something more modern and fashion forward, I agree with Betsy about A-line skirts. They're much more breathable and figura flattering than pencil skirts, and as long as you get a longer length and don't go too crazy with your top, it is still business friendly.

I like slacks and button down shirts, blazers, and ballet flats.

Heels: 3inches and lower, invest in a power suit, get a blazer and many slacks then some nice blouses to go under the blazer, make sure the blazer matches every pair of slacks or you will look terrible. I always opt for black.

Marshall's / TJ Maxx / JC Penny / target...all good places for affordable chiffon basic blouses, blazers, patent leather flats, tank tops for under blazers. honestly, the goodwill had some smsxinh, cheap staple pieces for my professional wardrobe. I like to wear simple.pearls, always classy and matches with.anything. target has good bit inexpensive Jewelery
