I'm a medium brown in Anastasia brow powder if that helps. And my eyebrows are naturally slightly darker than my hair.
In my pictures on BL, my hair looks a lot lighter because both pictures were taken in direct sunlight. Plus it was in the summer, and I had caramel highlights.
So chocolate or dark brown?!
& which one is darker!?

This picture is horrible. The flash makes my hair lighter and so does the grown out highlights. So it's a tad darker in person.

Have you tried them out in store? Swatches seem different in every picture, so I can see why it's hard to determine.

No! My local Sephora doesn't carry them probably because it's inside JCP. The closest one inside a mall is a little bit of a hike. :(

Dark brown imo is normally slightly darker than Choclate.

I believe I did. I have only swatches them in store once and I've seen online swatches but they varied. I think either color would be fine. You have light and dark in your hair and you could pull off both.

Hmmm I never thought of building the color up. I guess it does depend on how much product you use. I'll probably stick with my original choice of dark brown.
