Both are great but I prefer high end most of the time. I know that sounds kind of bad to some people but I trust it more and know that even if I don't like it, I can return it without trouble. Also most of my favorite brands are higher end. That doesn't mean I don't like drugstore but I got into higher end makeup first, then drugstore.

I'm a busy mom who needs to be smart with her money but I love makeup so thats definitely a challenge. However I like yourself buy only drugstore brands. In my opinion they work just as good and I'm satisfied with the results. If you know how to play with makeup, drugstore brands are not that big of a deal. I love Nyx, maybelline, & Loreal. I don't think its necessary to spend so much on a single product. Then again, if I had money to spend on whatever then I probably would buy high end products. :b

I buy whatever works, there are some great drugstore products, and there are some over-priced, over-hyped high end products.

I love them both. Mostly lipsticks or powders or eyeliners from drugstores. Foundations and mascaras and eyeshadows high end.

Sometimes the price difference isnt a lot and the product its a lot better quality, so things I use often like foundation concealer I will make sure I budget for them. but normally use a mix of both drugstore n high end. x

Both are good but at the end of the day my fav products always end up being high end.

For me it depends on what I'm buying.
I simply enjoy buying high end make up when it mostly comes to facial concerns, but it's not so much the brand I look at, it's more of the ingredients. I also enjoy high end because you can test the product out yourself, drug store is more of a miss. Usually when I do buy from drug store, I either get Wet n Wild, Jordana, or Loreal. Mostly L'oreal because I know there products are usually formulated much better, and L'oreal owns a lot of high end brands so you get a rather similar quality.
Over all it depends on what you are looking for.

As of right now, the majority of my makeup is high end. I like both but prefer high end just because it definitely has a much larger selection. Also because my problem skin never agreed with any drugstore foundations or powders. But there's no arguing that there are some fabulous drug store products!

And I agree with Cat that you never end up wasting on a product you hate because you can always return it.

I'm all about drug store. and I love Avon! the only high end product I have is UD palette but that's only because it was on sale for $10 lol I can't afford high end but I would love to treat myself one day.

I try both but honestly I prefer high end! Almost all my products I use everyday are high end but there are great drugstore products out there for sure!!

Depends on the product. I can't stand ELF so I don't use ELF, my foundation is high end because it's easier for me to color match in store opposed to drug store, my eyeshadows are a mix, though mostly high end. Eyeliners are high end, mascara is high end, what I line my waterline with is drug store, blush is high end, lipstick is both. So I guess my stuff is mostly high end... But really I just save and buy. I'm a full time college student and a part time worker. I know what I want and I save accordingly.

I enjoy buying both! Its just a matter trying things and buying what works for me. Things that I use daily or get a lot of use out of, I never bat an eye at the price and I'm glad to dish out extra cash for a high end product. If its something I know I won't be using often or I just want to try out, I will try to find drugstore dupes or check out drugstore brands before paying for high end items. A lot of drugstore items I prefer to high end items, so I stick with those. Same goes for high end products, I'm very happy with a lot of high end products, and while I will try a dupe for them, I don't mind sticking with my high end preferences if the quality is not the same or superior. So basically, I don't mind dishing out extra cash for quality items that I get a lot of use out of, but I love a lot of drugstore products and will always give them a try!

I love both. Some drugstore products can out-do the higher end ones. It really just depends on what my budget is for the month. But whether the product is $1 or $50 it's all about knowing how to use it :)

I perfer mostly high end even though it leaves my walette empty I just personally belive te quality is much better, I do have so low end products my favorite brand is nuance by salma hayek thats practicly the only low end makeup line I have along with physicians formula besides some lipsticks from different low end brands, I'm personally not a lipstick girl thats why I don't spend money on lipsticks I only have like 4 lipsticks

I usual try to sample the higher end to see if really is better they buy it if it is. But usually I have something from the drugstore that is just as good. I actually love elf. they are really stepping up.
