When doing a diy deep conditioning on your hair, do you apply onto clean hair or unwashed hair?

When I deep condition with coconut oil I do it before I wash my hair I love coconut oil for my hair. but with that you definitely need to wash it all out I'm not sure with any other diys but I would think on un washed hair jus so you could get it all cleaned off... not a whole bunch of help I'm no expert jus from may experience trying to help you out the best I can beautiful :)

I appreciate it Lisa. I know they say to dye your hair with product still in it, but wasn't sure if that also applied to conditioning. Thanks dear!

In my head it makes sense to do deep condition treatments on unwashed cuz some of the diys use egg or oils & you want to get all that off your hair!! like I said I'm far from an expert but that's what I've been doing for my hair & it is working wonders... do you have any deep conditioners in mind?

Not necessarily. This weather has made my scalp extra dry, causing flakiness. I'm not too keen on using eggs (a grossed out thing for me lol).

I don't blame you on the egg thing! hmmm maybe some sort of oil treatment for the dryness?

Yeah, just trying to keep it cheap. Maybe an olive oil treatment.
