I believe w/o because if am correct parabens strip your skin/hair of it's natural oils which is bad because it'll cause dryness...I believe that am correct but not 100% sure

Paraben is just a fancy word for "preservative," which is essentially harmless. Lately people have been worried about parabens (whether they're toxic/dangerous, whether they're keeping your products from going bad when they should, etc.), but they're found in most toothpastes, shampoo/conditioner, and a whole lot of makeup. It's up to you whether you're worried about that or not, but it won't kill you or wreck your skin :)

And Maura it's sulfates and sodium chloride that strip your skin and hair of essential oils :)

Oh ok thanks Hanna I know that something strips your skin and hair but I wasn't sure thanks girl

I wouldn't say one is better just because of parabens, I'm guessing the second one contains another preservative like DMDM Hydantoin or MI/MCI.

Thanks Hannah :) I was hoping you saw this and commented >_< I had read online and came up with the same conclusion but what was having me at "huh O.o" is tht both moisturizers put it out there being good with paraben and the other it's good without... But they are both sephora ones just the pink one and the other one the purple one

@lexi and Maura: thanks girls and I should look at the ingredients..
Btw have any of you girls tried any of those moisturizers??

Lol me? Girl, I google things like this when they come up so that I know for myself. Happy to help though :) Lexi is right though if they don't use parabens to preserve they probably use something else. But like I said, parabens won't kill you, they're common.

@hannah: haha soooo that's how we came up with the same conclusion.. Thanks.. I was just wondering.. Let me know what you think when you give them a try..
@lexi: are any of the ones you said something to worry about??
Jan 8, 2014
Hannah K.
Yeah :) but I figure anything that's used in toothpaste that doesn't kill us probably won't do anything bad to our skin.

Lol Hannah, I do the same, I'll be up till 3am reading medical journals about different ingredients in products
Magaly, I wouldn't worry about any of them, the concentration is so low that none can really harm us.
