You'll thank those young looks when you get older! I'm 14 but people think I look like I'm 17! Heels and dressing like an older woman will not make you look older, trust me. I suggest darker makeup, curly hair with lots of body, push-up bras and a classy wardrobe!

I'm 15 and I wish I looked my age. Someone thought that I was in college or worked at ulta (not to upset about that one) but the point is enjoy the age you are. If you REALLY want to look older just wear darker makeup like sadie said and maybe add some classy accessories. Don't look too old at school you'll look out of place.

It's really cool I'm 16 but I get that I'm 10 or 12 all the time!! It's kinda nice sometimes and I will love it later I know :)) when I do want an older look I for dark makeup, fixed up hair, heels, and classy pieces though!

You'll end up looking younger with overdone hair make up, heels etc. class it up and you'll look more mature. the way you act says a lot too so go ahead and wear makeup , do your hair, and dress nice..just don't overdo it or try too hard cause people can tell. good luck!

Well I mean how do you expect to look? You're 13. There is no need for you to look older to be honest. I would understand if you were like 16 & still looked 12 but you're 13. You're still young & although you like make up & all don't try to make yourself look older than you really are especially if you are young.

Don't worry about it. It sucks being treated like just another dumb tween trying to grow up too fast, I get it, but there's no point trying to exhaust yourself trying to look like something you're not. I agree that it has a lot more to do with your maturity, the way you carry yourself, and how you treat other people. You can wear high heels and a full face of makeup all you want, but none of that will change who you are on the inside, and how that shines out to the world. I'm not saying you're childish or immature or anything like that. I'm just saying you need to find peace with things as they are. There are more important things to worry about.

Meanwhile I'm a full ass grown women and I get told I look fifteen. When I was 13 I got confused for a grownass women.

Kitty, it was the same for me! I love it though. I think I looked older at 12 or 13 than I did at 21! hahah and so did the rest of the world I suppose. I'll be super happy in the long run though =)

Oh I'm okay with it, I go along with it. I used to be like YAY I look older, now I'm like YES I AM 15 AS LONG AS WE DON't CHECK MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR LICENSE.
I was at nordstorm and the lady was asking if I was looking for something in particular?
I just made big eyes and said my mommy... she was like awwh shes so cute, she looks 15 I bet shes younger.
I was like... what vast intelligence amongst our society... lol.
