How to keep curly hair straight when straightened

I have thick curly hair and whever I straighten it it always curls.up again does anyone know how I can keep it straight all day???

try CHI, i forgot the name of it but the brand is definitely CHI & it can be found at Marshalls, Ross & TJ Maxx for a cheap price.
