How long did you use it before you stopped? Which brush head were you using? It might have been too rough

I'm guessing I was using it constantly, like about 3 months. I wasn't moisturizing my face at that time, and I used it everyday! which is not good I heard, I was using the acne brush. I was using my clarisonic wrong?

Well I have heard that with some people it will break their face out at first but you got to keep using it and it will get great results. I have the Mia 2 and the acne brush as well. Maybe try using it once a day? W a face wash w either peroxide or syliac acid and you should use a moisturizer! I use cetaphil it is a bit thick but dermatologist recommended. I would say use it once a day on the lower setting!

I use mine with Cetaphil and it's working quite well for me. Maybe you could look in to their line of products?

Weird I love mine! I use the neutrogena acne free face wash. I switch between the orange, green, and pink. It does foam up really nice.

The whole breaking out deal tends to happen for some at first (everyone's skin reacts differently) so I'd try again and maybe use it less. Try getting a different brush maybe a sensitive one and moisturize!!

I just started using mine 2 weeks ago and I'm going through the purging phase right now. It sucks. 3 months is a long time, I think the brush head may be too harsh for you. Try switching to the delicate brush head and using it every other day or every two days.

You need to use a much more sensitive brush head. Remember the Clarisonic is considered abrasive because it uses nylon fibers. If your skin does not clear up at all ( in which your case three months sounds like way too long of a time ) then what you may be actually doing is irritating the skin. This can cause broken capillaries so either stick to a softer brush head or try outa non abrasive device entirely.

I love my clarisonic Mia 2. It's the best thing ever for my skin. If you have sensitive skin, you definitely need to ditch that acne brush head and pick up the one made specifically for sensitive skin. The acne brush is a bit rough. I would also suggest philosophy's purity cleanser, that is what I use and I love it. Then after you've done all of that just make sure to moisturize and your skin should start to thank you 😉 Also, make sure when you're using your clarisonic you don't bare down on your face too hard, it can be harsh on your faces delicate skin, let the brush do the work.

I just got my Clarisonic today and I am afraid about the purging stage. I bought it because I have clogged pores and blackheads that I can feel under the surface of my skin, I do get breakouts hear and then but nothing too crazy. I wear makeup, not on a daily basis but I wanted to get something that can really clean my face.
