Long wear but not matte foundation.

Ok I have combination skin ( a little more to the oily end) and over 40. So I have those wonderful fine lines popping up. Matte foundations seem so cakey and accentuate the fine lines even though I use a primer. Is there a good long wear foundation with full coverage but not a matte finish?

I'm 43, combo skin and understand exactly what you're saying! What's worked for me:
Smashbox Luminizing Primer
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation
L'oreal Absolut Foundation
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
L'oreal True Match Lumi Foundation

Also, make sure your face is moisturized prior to applying makeup. Hope this helps!

Make up forever I recommend it. By far the best I use on my clients

I love Skin79 hot pink super plus bb cream. It's got nice coverage, helps with discoloration and fine lines, and has a dewy finish. I swear by it.

@Bonnie R...don't rush for it to happen. Menopause is when you'll see the major changes take place with your skin. I'll be 40 next month and I stopped using skincare oil control products (like oil control primers and dry to matte finish moisturizers) 2 years ago. I'd rather hold on to my oily skin as long as I can because dry skin is aging. :)

Smashbox Studio Skin foundation. It's long wearing but moisturizing and the finish is demi matte. It doesn't make your skin appear greasy or accentuate pores and fine lines.
