How in the world do you ladies pay for such high end makeup? I don't have a job where I get paid money. My husband works but I could never afford such high priced makeup. I don't think I've ever paid 10$ for any 1 thing of makeup.

I think it's a matter of how one prioritize the money, I'm a student, but I would still buy the naked 3 pallet if they sold it in Denmark!

Some of their husbands have good paying jobs, some of the women have good paying jobs & sometimes they both do. Some of the girls who have been on here most recently are girls still in school so some parents are still buying stuff for them & some girls who are young but still work & live at home so they can spend their money on makeup instead of bills. See Michele, this is something that I've wondered myself & inquired about so I have an answer for you!! Either way... they're very lucky ;-)

I saved up and for my birthday last year I purchased the Naked 1 pallet. I just put a little away until I had enough to buy it. It took a bit but was sooo worth it. (having all my teeth replaced and on workmans comp) so I totally get the no money part! I sign up for a ton of make-up give aways online too. If they are giving away make-up I'm entering! I've won Bobbie Brown Mascara, Stlia nail polish, Paula's choice skin serum...I could go on and on. lol. But that's how I do it on a budget. :)

Also, I don't have kids, so eventhoug I don't have a lot of money, all that is left after I pay my bills are mine too spend as I want! And today after I'm done at the dentist (Urgh!!) I will go treat myself with a cup of overpriced coffee and look at some shops ;)

If you're a makeup artist or inspiring to become one then it is worth it. I use cheaper makeup on me because my sisters stole all my mac, bobbi brown, nars and etc.so I've stopped giving them the privilege of using my stuff. You can get really good foundations and palettes for under £10 in UK but I don't cheap out when it comes to clients

You mean being a mom? I have kids, many women on here have children, I work 60 plus hours a week, plus I'm in school doing a dual Masters degree, and I have two kids to care for. Most people work there butts off.

Michele, everyone is different, I've always been career driven, love my kids, but love my work. If staying home satisfies you then the trade off isn't worth it, it is ALL personal decision, and no one is right or wrong.
