-use a heat protector (I like Tressemme and It's a 10 Plus Keratin). Apply it to your hair, concentrating on the roots. Sprays work best.
-then put your hair up with a clip, and let it down layer by layer. Take thin layers all the way around your head, starting at the bottom.
-when you're straightening, do little sections. The smaller the section, the faster and easier it is to straighten.

I get the same thing! The night before I straighten my hair I put three things in my hair! Leave in conditioner, coconut oil and a frizz serum and cum it through, and morning brush spray heat protectant, the take section by section and straighten hair. At the end take some straightening shine and your done! Works so good!

I wouldn't see why not it may seem to be a little oily but that can be takin care of with dry shampoo. Or taking a shower and towel drying or blow drying. It just is to your liking hunn.
