No matter what I do my foundation will not set. It's always sticky. I have tried every method of setting it, powder foundation and setting powder, brush and powder puff. No matter how much powder I apply it is still sticky and ends up looking cakey! What can I do? I use Clinique redness solutions.

Do you use a primer? have you tried a setting spray?

I use the rimmel primer and it still feels the same. I thought it was my sunscreen and lotion but I switched those and still feels the same.

Maybe try blending it out a bit more and then using a setting spray.

I've tried that as well. Once I let it sit for 30 mins on my face but it still felt sticky. My almay foundation doesn't feel like this. Could it be the foundation?

If you're using foundation separate from your sunscreen you can try mixing them half and half then applying to your face.

Is the primer and foundation made of different bases?

I like to powder my face with a beauty blender. Its the only method I've found that really sets and doesn't look cakey. Got the tip from Kim Kardashians Makeup artist Mario :)
