Manic Panic Hair Dye Help.

So I bought manic panic hair dye in amplified atomic turquoise. My hair is not going to be bleached, lightened, dyed, and my hair is not processed. Do you guys know if the color will show up on my hair? I don't care if it's not extremely vibrant as long as it has a tint and shows up In the sun. Also what are tips that I should take when applying and during my hair color?😁

It should give more than a tint, it should be visible in all lighting but the brighter the light the more vibrant it'll be.
For tips, apply it all over, and put on a shower cap or a plastic bag over it, and leave it on as long as you can. I like to wear it 6 or so hours, but anywhere over an hour should be enough. The longer you leave it on before rinsing the more vibrant the color will be. Some people even sleep with it on and rinse it out in the morning. Also rinse with cold water and don't shampoo, it'll feel super conditioned and might feel oily or weird, but it'll help the color last and be more vibrant if you wait a few days before shampooing.

Thanks alyx! So at first I don't shampoo but after a couple days I could, correct? And how long did the dye last for you and did you have to remove it or did it come out naturally?

Shampoo before (no conditioner) then blow dry and apply. The dye is conditioning so don't worry. And yeah, try not to shampoo right away after rinsing the dye. :)

It really varies person to person. Atomic turquoise lasted a long time on my hair but I was bleach blonde first. It'll fade faster for you since you have pigment in your hair already. But it should last a few weeks still depending how often you wash your hair. It should wash out, but sometimes can leave a stain. I doubt it will on your hair, since it's dark and has pigment in it already.

Thanks alyx cause I heard this dye leaves a green tint to the hair that will stain it and you would have to use like a remover that will damage the hair which is what I don't want 😁 thanks!!

It's usually only on super bleached hair where the hair is super porous, or when you redye a ton (like every month for a year) but I never had it stain when my hair wasn't super blonde.

And I've been dying my hair crazy colors for like 5 years, almost every color of the rainbow and only one color stained my hair, which was an ion dye. So the likelihood of it staining isn't that likely :)

Honestly, I've done that before and I don't think the blue looks very good mixed in with untreated brown hair. But it'll just show up as a tint, it won't be too noticeable. It depends on how dark your hair is though :)

Emily turquoise is defined as a mix of mostly green and some blue, I think it's pretty obvious that it will be somewhat green lol.
