Where should I get my makeup done?

I'm going to a rap concert next month, and wanna get my makeup done for it. Where do you recommend the best place to get it? Ulta..Sephora..etc?

I would try to find an actual makeup artist. Most makeup counters and stores like Ulta and Sephora, do not actually know anything about makeup, besides how to sell a product. Not that it would look horrible but I have heard to many horror stories of how badly their makeup was done. Also, if you go to a makeup counter, they will expect you to want to buy the products they used on you (obviously you don't have to but its more of a courteous gesture).

It also depends how your stores are. Personally if I had to choose between my Sephora and Ulta I think I would pick Ulta because a lot of the girls I see at my Sephora either have no makeup or completely caked on junk that I always want to just scrap off their skin lol

Definitely not at benefit, the oxygen wow foundation sucks and I went to try on clothes and the stuff just went everywhere on the clothes.

None like liz said they arent always the most qualified people, I got my makeup don't for free at sephora cuz of the VIB card an honestly regreated it makeup was not great and hygeine was horribale I had a cloae eye on everything before it went on my face, best thing to do is get a actual makeup artist to do it for you.

Definitely not sephora I went to have my makeup done it was the worst thing ever. the lady who did my makeup was rude to the point I don't want to buy makeup from there ever again also she made me like four shades darker. she was just unprofessional played with her piercing on her face then touched my face ate a lollipop while doing my makeup was just rough with me and said a few rude comments
