I've kind of been on this "look natural" kick. I've tried not to wear as much makeup (usually just tint moisturizer) & haven't been straightening my hair. but I always have to urge to straighten my hair because everyone else has straight hair and my natural hair is waved in a weird way. I also have to fight the urge to cake more makeup on. how do you natural ladies over come these urges!? I. want t get to the point where I can just take a shower and feel comfortable leaving the house as is.

Look in the mirror and compliment every part of your face and give reasons. for example, I like my eyes because they are big. The best way to wear less makeup is to make sure your face is clearer. try working on your skin care routine. If you don't like your wavy hair then I recommend this heat less way of straightening your hair called wrapping. You would do this method before you go to bed and when you take it out your hair should be straight or straighter but if you must use heat I would use a blow dryer instead of straitener. It's less damaging and your hair will thank you. :)

breanna is right the key to wearing no makeup is having clear clean skin
I would just wear bb cream and fake lashes , the ones that look "naturally long" I hope I helped you (:

I think that the only person who can help you feel beautiful is you. So asking other people how they make themselves feel good is a lost cause because it's all about how YOU feel about YOURSELF. Get me?

Maybe try some straightening products in your hair after you shower that helps with the weird waves! Or do fun hair does like buns, pony tails, braids etc. As for being comfortable
With your face, eat healthy, drink about eight cups of water a day, and wear concealer on your problem areas ONLY. not all over your face :-)

I have weird wavy hair too! I find that putting a fun colored bandana in my hair and adding some sea salt spray can make it look "messy on purpose" when it's usually just messy. for makeup cream blush and highlighter would be good as they give a natural looking glow.
