My hair is very damaged and has a lot of split ends. My hair also falls out a lot. I dye it but not often and I've cut back a lot on using heat. Any tips? It bugs me to have hair with so much breakage :/

If you are going to use heat on your hair like a hair dryer and such, you should use a good heat protectant

Love coconut oil! I use it a day before hair washing day. Melt a spoonful in the microwave then put it on dry hair. I usually put a conditioning cap on and sleep in it. The next morning I wash it out and it's super soft and shiny.
Or if you don't want to sleep in it, you can leave it on for an hour. Usually I leave it on for an hour then shower with it so the steam could heat it up a little to make it penetrate into the hair cuticle more.

Don't shampoo every night- a lot of people agree and disagree with this, however shampoo strips your hair and if your hair is already stripped on its own, your not going to make it any better. I usually shampoo every other day.
