Don't use heat! I'm guessing you blow dried your hair? Mine looks like this when I blow dry, but since I've started air drying my hair has been healthier than ever.

That can happen too lol, don't brush it when its dry, use a wet brush when you get out of the shower and apply some frizz product. I use Ogx Kukui Oil Curl Cream, and Coconut Oil and they're my favorite, my hairs never frizzy anymore.

The only time I brush my hair when its dry is if I'm about to straighten it :)

Trust me, this is DEFINITELY not an Afro! First, frizz is generally caused because of a lack of moisture the hair shaft itself. You need to pump that up with moisture! I suggest getting a leave in conditioner for everyday use, as well as a styling cream which is usually more moisturizing than a regular gel. I suggest cantu Shea butter leave in conditioner, as well as the Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie if you have hair similar to mine, uber curly , fine & , thick! Like Kaitlyn said, don't use heat, and brush instead of combing!

This is going to sound weird but I've found HAND cream (pay attention to how I emphasized hand) helps.

Deep conditioners, oils, and leave-in conditioners should help(: I hear Moroccan Oil is amazing and the It's a Ten Miracle Leave-In works wonders.

Do you have naturally curly hair?

Another thing: try a wide tooth comb rather than a brush!

Oh girl I feel your pain, I Hate my hair on days when it does this! Which is 90% of the time and the only products I use are moisturising ones so I'm starting to think my frizz is genetic (not sure if that's possible but my mum has it to and she does literally nothing to her hair dye wise or heat wise) I did try a new shampoo and conditioner yesterday though and it made a significant difference even with one use. It was from tresemme I believe, it was some sort of keratin shampoo and it worked wonders. I'll have a look around and see if I can find a picture of it. Also I find using a variety of oils will help too, I switch between argan and maroccan oil from different brands and use it whenever I wash my hair when my hairs damp which seems to help my overall hair health with a few months of usage so maybe look into that too. Does yours flick when you straighten it too? 😣
